"In consistent overflow," is the best way to describe the creative mind of Rae Sparks; a young woman from North London whose love for storytelling, and a great read, finally brought her to the world of comics and its industry.

In 2008 Rae successfully achieved a BA Honours Degree in Performing Arts where she studied Screen-writing and wrote a Pitch/storyboard for a 10 minute Screen play 'The Widow'.

It was during her years of study that Rae stumbled upon a graphic novel called Dharma Red; an unapologetic mutant Vampire goddess who took pleasure in devouring villains of the galaxy. Rae began to buy Marvel comics and fell in love with the female characters such as Mystic, Storm and many others.

Long after her years of study, Rae's passion for uniting text and imagery never died; In 2014 Rae produced a stage production of her own, 'Windows: A Place, A Space Of Expression.' Windows was a collaboration of poets & artist who used both poetry and art work to tell a story; set in an apartment block, where not only regular folk lived but, Death, Mother Earth and Ghosts of the past; all of whom had a poetic tale to tell (the production was inspired by Graphic Poetry).

In 2015 Rae decided to purse a writing career in comics and joined the Facebook group 'Women Creating Comics.' She decided to put her self out there as new to comic book writing; and wanting to gain some experience. To her amazement she was approached by Lashawn Colvin, who was looking for some one to write for her Beautiful Soldiers comic!! Having loved her style of writing,  Lashawn introduced Rae to Tyrone Jackson, CEO of SoveReign Comics and was given full writing reign with his up and coming comic, S.T.A.R.S.
