The Beautiful Soldiers Creative Team

Andrea Smith is a creative with many talents, her first love is the performing arts and the stage. As a young adult Andrea began to fine tune her craft at City & Islington College, eventually she went on to study at De Mountford University for a Degree in Performing Arts. During her years of study, Andrea's eyes were open to screen & play writing aa well a the world of comics. In 2014 Andrea wrote and directed a small production called “Windows” on the Caribbean Island of Grenada. Currenty, Andrea is co-creator/co-editor for Beautiful Soldiers (a graphic novel).

Editor for Scorpio (a comic book series).

Fat Girl Can't Run (comic book series). 

2020 surprisingly opened another creative avenue which saw Andrea become project manager for Comics and Geeks a Beverage Lounge, a hub for all creative to come and showcase their work. 

Currently Andrea is working hard to build her very own Black Female Empowerment brand/Apparel.

The fabulous Hailey Dennis has recently signed onto the Beautiful Soldiers creative team as the new Associate Editor!  She will be taking over from our previous Associate Editor Tyrone Jackson where Hailey will oversee production from chapters 1-6, in the short time she has been with us Hailey has shown that she has the creative mind, skill set and drive to be a truly valuable player in the success of Beautiful Soldiers! A bit about Hailey, she graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Science with Manga Cum Laude. Double majored in Accounting and German with a minor in Business Germaby.

Sebastian Cheng is the main colorist for Beautiful Soldiers, he credits the colors for the interior pages for chapters 2-6. Sebastians big and bright colors are truly breathtaking, he is able to bring a page to life like no other. His resume is also something to boast about, he’s lended his talents to DC Comics, IDW Publishing, Image, Dark Horse and he’s currently a mainstay  colorist for Marvel Comics on the ”Venom“ title.

Lashawn Colvin has stated that one of her most exciting accomplishments in the comic book industry was signing on Hendry Prasetya, BOOM! Studios “Power Rangers” artist onto her Creative Team. Hendry Prasetya is the cover artists for the main cover, Water Edition and the Store Exclusive Edition. Being one of Lashawn Colvins top 5 artists ever, he has added a level of quality and standard to Beautiful Soldiers. Having Hendry on board has been truly amazing.Recently announced, Hendry is the artist for the interior pages for chapter 6 of book 1!

A third team member brought on board the creative team by Hendry Prasetya, Iwan Nazif, the interior artist for the Beautiful Soldiers Shorts chapters 2-6. Iwan has the art style that is rare, able to capture that true majestical and mystical feel that Beautiful Soldiers is known for. Having him capture the essence of the short story’s for the series has been a rewarding experience. Iwan has done so good with the short stories that he is now the MAIN artist for the Beautiful Soldiers series.
